THEY DON'T THINK IT'S BAD

Some parents have always wished that their children become the best when it comes to morals, values, academic success, creativity and all that.

They also want people to praise their children and see them bringing glories back home. But I asked this question, "What have you done has a mother or father to help in this regard?".

Speaking about values. A positive value that is well structured will keep producing more positive values in your child.

Telling Lies, Cheating, Stealing, Bullying...

We all think they are bad, right. But these children don't really feel they are bad.

They found some elders blooming with these attitudes. And they live fine without being crucified.

I was fortunate to be in a conversation where a mother was reporting that she never trust her daughter for her words. Her daughter doesn't speak an iota of truth. And she will always find a way to defend herself by all means. This attitude of her is really disgusting and she wants her to change.

While she described other attitudes of her daughter, I realized that this mother carries most of these identities. In fact, she is good at all she mentioned about her daughter. But here she is, asking for advice.

And I appreciate the response she got from one of the elders. She was asked; Where do you think she learned all these from? And how exactly do you want us to help"?

She said, maybe from her friends. Then I smiled. However, she was bluntly told that "All these are your behavioural traits. She is learning from you. And if care is not taken she might become worse. Yes, we will talk to her. But you need to change yourself first."

You tell your children to be honest. But you train them to tell lies to cover up for you when you need it.

You tell your children to be humble. But they see how you ridicule people you relate with.

They won't think it's that bad. Only if you can make them feel it's bad.

Take time to learn and practice those positive values. They will also learn and take caution.
