It's about you being useful in your youthful age. Living in the present with great preparation for the future.
With the little, but the great experience I've had over my few years out of school. I now imagine those wonderful moments I should have enjoyed better during my school days. Although, "it is rather late than never."

📷Improve your Reading Skills:
This is one of the most important skills you need to have, to become a great leader and a successful person in life. I tell you; Reading opens hidden opportunities for greatness. When I talk about reading, I mean you should read wide, read extensively. Don't limit yourself to a particular course of study. You can always get books that will drive you towards success. It gives you an opportunity to intercourse with great people. Reading will also help you build your writing and speaking skills.
The more you read, the more you learn. Readers are leaders.

📷 Long to Belong:
Here, I mean you should be inquisitive to join the leagues of creative-minded people. They have a lot to offer you, and they can be a pathway to your success. As a student, there are creative groups that can help you discover and utilize your talent within your school premises. Writers' club, drama groups, public speaking forums, business associate and entrepreneurship groups, military and paramilitary groups; like Red Cross, Cadet or Man O' War, and many educating ones.
Get this clear. Even if you think you don't have what it takes to be a member. My dear, just join them. With time you will learn and surely have a good story to tell.
That reminds me of a wonderful friend (Kayfacfor). In one of his seminars, he mentioned that "The kind of people you roll with will determine the kind of places you roll to".
So, "if you think you can't do it, learn it. If you think you can do it, then just do it. And if you know you are good at it, help others to grow. You are surely leaving a legacy."

📷 No Knowledge is a waste:
I remembered how voracious I had always been, about improving myself on how to reach people with my messages, be it through writing or speaking. I started searching for groups to join online, that would help me become better. I came across many WhatsApp group links, of which few were good ones. I joined and began learning.
Kayfacfor "I can never forget this guy", he once advised me to learn through YALI learns. It's a platform that builds leaders. They have several educational online courses. You can check that too.
It took me some months to find a reason to do as he advised. But trust me, after I joined, I became more aware and interested in leadership. A lady friend also linked me to some groups which had been exposing me to some great things in this life. Thank God I'm changing, and I'm improving day by day.

📷Self Love:
I sometimes have issues with myself, as regards this point. I knew I love myself, but I find it more interesting when I share more love with others than I do to myself. Thank God this is changing too. Mind you, I still love others, but in a reasonable measure.
A friend shared my content on this topic, and I reasoned a lot with what was delivered.
I know you remember this rule, " love your neighbour as you love yourself". Self-love would make you realize who you are. And this will lead me to the next point.
.
.
📷Knowing who you are (Self Actualization):
This will make you choose what's best for you. And with this, you begin to have a vision and a direction for your life.
This reminds me of Oprah Winfrey (a great motivational speaker). She said,
"I'm that which is born of all that is...a spiritual being with human experience...and understanding that because I'm connected to the source of all that is, all that is possible, is possible for me". With this...

📷 Never allow people's opinions of you to become your reality. (Quoting one of the great public speakers):
Some people will tell you, " you can't do it", "you are too small to achieve such a great thing", " you are dull" and all sorts.
If you would agree with me, some people do this to humiliate you. But for those that do this to challenge, and motivate you to improve yourself for greatness, acknowledge them, and never allow these negative thoughts to enshroud your sphere. You are greater than their imaginations. Work on yourself and let your success speak.
.
.
📷Self Motivation:
This is sometimes difficult to achieve, as we sometimes depend on extrinsic motivation rather than intrinsic motivation.
People or items that motive you might not be there forever. And remember, you will always be there with God's strength in you. Build your internal motivating spirit. And you will never regret it.
This again, reminds me of Hammed Kayode Alabi (Kayfacfor), when we were preparing for a Pre-NUGA as school athletes. We were in the same hit, at the qualifier's stage for 200 meters. It was about 80 meters left to finish this race. Amazingly, I heard a loud and huge noise from behind, "Kay! You can do it." This distracted me a bit as I wondered how he had the strength to shout so loud, in the crazy race where I'm struggling to manage my strength to finish the race.
That was a great lesson I learned from him. Even when people ignore you, keep the focus on achieving your goal.
So, always motivate yourself for greatness, and success will surely find you.
