Full Name: Afeez Olalekan SAKA
1. Afeez is an Experienced Educator with a demonstrated history of working experiences in the teaching, civic, and social organization industry.
2. He is a visionary leader and talent, with the mission to help teenagers and youths harness their potentials for more productivity at an early stage of life, through access to 21st century and quality life education.
3. He became inspired by his story of being a child that was raised from a low-income background. His passion became more intense when he realized that he had missed a lot of opportunities due to the limited exposure he had in the past.
4. Afeez worked with Library Aid Africa and Worldreader on a digital literacy project that Inspired and empowered more than 200 young women and girls for a better future.
5. Afeez served with Young African Leaders Initiative, Ogun State, as the State Coordinator, 2019/2020.
6. He is currently the Director of Curriculum Development and Planning, Kayode Alabi Leadership, and Career Initiative where he has worked to help students in the rural communities to build relevant life skills and prepare them for the Future of Work through the SDGs 4 (Quality Education).
7. He is also a United Nations TeachSDGs Ambassador, Global Youth Ambassador, Theirworld, and World Literacy Foundation.
8. Afeez is currently a fellow with Teach for Nigeria and also as an Education Officer with Lagos State Teaching Service Commission.
9. Through his quest for global development and impact, Afeez is now a Sustainability Leader with United People Global. He is always ready to learn and collaborate for literacy development in Africa.
10. Afeez is the founder of LACED Africa (Literacy for African Child Education and Development), a Youth-Led Not for Profit Organization on purpose to help children in the low-income communities improve their reading and learning culture through literacy development for personal success and global peace.
