I'm happy that we've been on this journey together.
I know how powerful our work is.
I know how challenging it could be.
I want to say well done for how committed you are to other people's growth.
I want to say well done for taking the students as your children.
As you dream of a better future for these kids.
Please don't give up on them so easily when you notice you've only seen little or no change.
I want you to know that change is a gradual process, and consistency is key.
It will surely manifest someday.
What I mean by consistency here is more than just going to school every day.
The value you preach should align with the value you live.
Your words and action should go in line with one another.
And when you make promises, try to fulfill them.
Empathize with them to teach empathy.
Be humble to them to teach humility.
Appreciate them to teach gratitude.
Respect them and allow them to lead and build for the better.
Be present in their lives and maintain a healthy relationship.
You will look back someday to appreciate the little progress you make with them.
Do have a more impactful journey ahead.
Teach For Nigeria... One day every Nigerian child will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.
