A MEETING WITH THE CEO.
Yesterday, March 24th, 2022 marked another memorable day for us.
It's such a nice moment spent with the CEO of @teachfornigeria, @folaweomikunle.
This was organized to celebrate Esther for being selected as one of the 8 Student Leaders Advisory Council at @teachforall
Sharing a few of our stories with her was motivating. Thanks for the encouragement at all times.
She's been a blessing to most of us in ways she can't even imagine.
Personally, every moment I spend listening to her inspires me more. I feel more passionate about the work I do.
When you are inspired by the CEO, you've got to keep evaluating yourself to know if you are trying your best to do the right thing, at least, a little better than every other day.
I enjoyed watching her during her conversation with Esther.
At a point, she said, Esther, I have a gift for you.
She brought out the gift, and it was "BECOMING", written by Michelle OBAMA.
I was so excited to see Esther receive this beautiful gift from her.
I was so emotional when she gave her a warm hug too, and in my mind, I said, " This is so beautiful".
I hope this inspires Esther to keep doing her best to become the leader she's been destined to be.
I hope this inspires other students that their background should not be a barrier to their progress in life.
It might be hard, challenging, and tiring at times.
But still, we've got to believe in the greatness we carry within us.
We want to hear more beautiful stories from Idata/Ilagbo community as this inspires us to do more.
