Board meeting with Teach for All Board of Directors.

A GREAT TIME SPENT WITH GREAT LEADERS AND THE BOARD MEMBERS OF TEACH FOR ALL.

Excited to have Wendy Kopp on the call today.

KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT WENDY KOPP.
Wendy is the CEO and Co-founder of Teach For All. In 1989, she founded Teach For America after graduating from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs. The author of two books, she lives in New York City with her family.

If feels so great listening to Esther while she shares her story with global leaders like Sir, Gbenga Oyebode MFR, Chairman, Aluko & Oyebode, and other amazing board members.

One thing that stood out for me most was when she got nice feedback about having clarity on her journey and how she had remained strong despite all she had experienced as a young girl.

Esther's courage and resilience have been good connector that drives our work better. And I'm so proud of her just like that.

I remember when Wendy asked her about her journey to Teach for All.

She said, "Wow, I never knew opportunities like this existed. But I was so excited to have received a congratulatory message from the CEO. I told my mentor about it and he was so excited too".

She narrated how attending the "Skill2Rural boot camp" inspired her.

How she got selected to participate in the Beyond School Community Challenge.

And how my coach reminded us to apply for Teach for All's Student Leader Advisory Council.

And again, finally receiving that congratulatory message.

She did amazingly well that I might not be able to share everything today.

But again, I'm so happy for her growth.

I'm so happy to see her on such an amazing platform.

One of those things we talked about during my first fellowship year here in Idata/Ilagba was to empower them to use their VOICES in changing their world and that of others.

I believe that today's board meeting is in this direction. And it's inspiring to see this happening.

Thank you, Teach For Nigeria

Thank you, Teach For All

The journey is getting more interesting.
