Idata Ilagbo Changemakers - One African Child Innovation Challenge 2022 (3rd Place)

One of my greatest moments is to see my students learning, winning, and growing.

There are times we also lose, but those are moments that have helped us learn and see what we need to do well.

Kudos once again to Idata/Ilagbo Changemakers who won the 3rd place at the OneAfricanChild Foundation for Creative Learning  Innovative Challenge in collaboration with Mighty Mind Africa (MMA).

This gave them the opportunity to build their capacity and be more intentional about solving real-life problems in their community.

During the mentorship, they had to dig deeper into some more wicked problems and what would help them achieve their mission for Idata/Ilagbo community.

Despite how busy I was during the mentorship with MMA, they remained persistent.

They came up with one more new idea and it makes sense.

Do they always find it easy? Not at all.

Did they feel tired along the line? Yes, but we don't give up on learning.

Should we even talk about how the whole idea had to change a few days before the presentation? Maybe.

Did we give up? No.

In fact, it was another privilege to explore while they were developing the Business Model Canvas.

Thank you, One African Child.
Thank you, Mighty Mind Africa.

These amazing students have just completed their secondary school education.

With the last 12 months of their stay in High school, I'm glad to have explored several learning opportunities with them.

Are we stopping here? Not at all.

But this is to say,

Cheers to greater wins and more good troubles we will continue to make together.

Please send my champions some words of motivation and support. It means a lot to us.
